Paul Williams was 6'1 and fighting at WW. Im pretty sure no one would have complained about Williams "size difference" if he fought Floyd.

Yeah, he's been having trouble keeping the weight on for a while huh? Except the fact, he's been hydrating back up those WW levels for years

Weigh in weights mean nothing when one guy is sweatind himself down to make the weights. Pac has likely been walking around at 150 or so for years.

A more spread out frame(particularly arms) make it difficult to add strength.

I know the midget can make 144 no problem. Floyd, not so much

Pac is used to drying himself out to make weight, so I'm sure he could.

I would have. Williams and Hearns had unfair advantages at welterweight, honestly. Not their fault, but not a "fair" fight when that is as absolutely low as they can go and other guys have come up to the weight. Williams could have been an effective middleweight. hearns actually was an effective light heavyweight, effective from 147-175 lbs. these little guys can't have the same range, Floyd is 130-147 (he hasn't looked great at 154), Pac is probably 122-147 (he wasn't an adult at those super low weights). Williams could have been effective at 147-160, a huge welter.

Pac is maxed out at 147. Floyd has a frame that can handle more weight, if he wants to tackle bigger challenges. Of course he did refuse next day weigh in for 3/4 fights since the vacation, so who knows.

Yeah, but the one time he did was against the heaviest opponent he's ever seen, and he only put on 3 lbs.

... And that's down to hard work and dedication to his craft. As a consequence of working to be supremely skilled at boxing, people want him to seek harder challenges than his peers which is understandable yet at the same time unfair.

I know that, so it's a shame he seems unwilling to defend his belt at 154 against natural 154ers

bopkiss. lots of it. that picture is thrown around by people who are wrong. if you think floyd and manny are the same size you're wrong. i honestly have a hard time believing that people are so clueless. do you even watch boxing? are you even familiar with the fighters? do you understand that everybody in boxing, including mayweather and pacquiao themselves recognize a difference in size?

pacquiao is not drying out and rehydrating on fight night when he's fighting at WW. when he weighs in unofficially he's wearing clothing and probably even shoes. when he weighs in officially he's generally wearing very little.

why did manny look small compared to mosley and floyd looked to be the same size? why did marquez look like floyd's younger brother, and look to be only slightly smaller than pacquiao? because floyd is bigger than pacquiao, that's why.

a larger man puts on muscle easier. he gerally has more muscle. if you really think that's wrong then there's little that can be done for you.

the best build for putting on mass is about 5'9" and short armed, but those men are incredibly robust. they have massive bones and a huge frame. big backs, robust ribcages and thick legs. mayweather has bigger shoulders and a more robust frame than pacquiao. pacquiao has very large legs and especially calves for a smaller guy who boxes professionally for 12 rounds, but that's really the only area in which he's larger than mayweather. he probably has bigger hands, too.

this is a conversation taken up on your end by people who don't know what they're talking about.
