How much of a threat could Andy Ruiz be if he is fully fit and focused?

Latest pics of Ruiz should he's in good shape.

He's got fast hands and a good chin.

I know he's the subject of mockery because of how fat he's often been, but the guy has obvious skills, and he beat Joshua more convincingly than anyone else has.

He beat Joshua more convincingly than Usyk did, and it was something that Whyte, Parker, Wlad and Povetkin all failed to do.

I still think Ruiz could be a handful to any fighter personally. I don't see him being KO'd by anyone but Wilder.

He had a bad day against Arreola, but I'm willing to forget that.

He didn't beat Joshua better than Usyk. He got lucky and needed four rounds against a zombie to get a stoppage (and still only managed a strange TKO).

    He's average.

Joshua closely overlooked Andy. And then he got caught.

Ruiz is not very good imo. But he has spectacularly fast hands.

I thought he got very lucky against AJ. We all saw how odd AJ was acting before the bell went. Not to mention the very odd and unusual long delay for the ring walk. That's got to be a starting point. But maybe it didn't affect his performance. Who knows.

Despite AJ looking panic ridden and there being clearly something wrong, he dropped Ruiz with the first combination he landed (lovely two punch combo). Straight after that he landed a huge right hand There on, AJ (and any like minded individual), thought Ruiz was there to be taken out. He had just landed bombs on him. He thought he could make a statement thinking Ruiz was done (rightly so) and swung for the fences. Not realising Ruiz has insane recovery ability, he got caught unaware by a shot he never recovered from. He looked completely off after this KD and even getting lightly tagged affected him. I think the first temple ear shot knocked his senses for the entirety of the fight.

Watch the third and fourth "Kd". Ruiz had barely landed anything (bar illegal back of the head shots) had AJ goes down. AJ lost that fight because he got carried away trying to KO that fat mess. Unfortunately for him, it ended up with him losing. I've said it before, Ruiz absolutely got lucky in that fight and you're in denial if you say otherwise.. Yeah credit for Ruiz for what he did, but he got lucky

What do you think was wrong with AJ before the fight?

I'm not saying it definitely affected his performance whatever was wrong with AJ. There's a video I can't recall which one where AJ made reference to having surgery for an undisclosed issue.. And he heavily suggested this was, in part, the reason for his performance.

Just the unusual look on AJ face , the biting gumshield, the massage, the ringwalk delay also suggest something was happening. But who knows

Actually think his weight loss will go against him. Your body gets used to a certain water ratio and while he's not had many fights I'm not sure this lean version will do very much. The Ortiz fight will tell us more.

In theory his handspeed should be the best in the division by someway and his stamina should be good but will he hold a shot as well?

I think he will get back to contender level but don't see him holding a belt again.

We've heard fat fks swearing to trim down and usually never amounted to anything. Ruiz actually benefited of the extra weight taking AJ's best and rather than KO'd flat getting a lucky shot back at an overexcited fighter who never offered the same chance in the rematch hence domination. That's no match of Usyk comprehensively outboxing AJ, and once you realize and looks thru Ruiz resume you'll realize he can only do so much - he's a B+ HW fat or slim. I mean he want life and death with Arreola who himself lost his snap once trimmed down.
