How much of a threat could Andy Ruiz be if he is fully fit and focused?

Probably too late for him. Sharply gaining and losing weight is **** for the heart and muscles. Fury got away with it because at his extreme height, he wasn't quite as overweight as it seemed, and because he was able to build himself back up over time.

Andys weight cut could be his demise. I saw how Arreola had his head snapping back with each shot, I think he cut too much weight for that fight. Andy has to find a middle ground for his fight night weight.

LHW at best?! So if fit whaddya thunk he might be, Lightweight? Featherweight? Straweight/Mininumweight? :nut:
OK seriously, I believe he has an LBM (lean body mass, what he would weight with zero fat) between 175-180 lbs.
Similar to say Joe's Louis & Frazier-he clearly has some significant muscle mass for his height, & my postulated level still allows for a body fat level ~ or over 1/3 even in the first fight with Joshua-I do not think he was more than that!

So even with rehydration he is not making LHW-unless you think he can have a contest condition bodybuilders body fat level lol!
Although if he as not overweight, he could easily make (at least a rehydrated) Cruiserweight.

But others are correct that this is not realistic for him.
The best we can expect, both for his ability to reach it, + how having such an unfamiliar size would effect his stamina, punch resistence, maybe power...

Is that he can be a bit, but LESS "fat but fit".
Maybe he could eventually make 235 lbs., meaning a 25% BF level, & still be an elite fighter. At best.
Like Foreman during his comeback, or Tyson Fury.

He looked pretty good to me against Joshua. Except for Joshua landing a lucky shot and getting a flash knock down over Andy, Ruiz dominated the fight in my opinion.

Ruiz will turn up in terrible shape.

Those pictures of him looking in good shape are fake. Remember he released pictures of himself being in shape prior to AJ 2 and he turned up as a real life fat pig?

The only threat Ruiz poses is to the worlds food supply.
