How much of a threat will Usyk and Gassiev be at Heavyweight?

depends on how durable they are, these big boys can bang, and they can take a lick. we have to see how much respect their punches can demand, and how heavy a hand their jaw can stand up to.

 

It is obvious that both will make a splash and Usyk will likely pick up a belt, especially if they get further split up under Ruiz.

 

Gassiev will be no threat.

Usyk more as the Gasman, because of his incredible skill level, but I can see Gassiev take all of them out with his left hook.

 

Gassiev punches harder than most HWs and has great technical skill. He'll be fine.

 

Gassiev will be putting HWs to SLEEP like he has done in sparring for years with highlight reel KOs, he will be a very strong contender

And Usyk is almost a certainty to be a HW world champion

I know Usyk absolutely dominated Gassiev but I have a sneaky Gassiev will do just as well if not better than Usyk at heavy. He has enough skill to outbox most heavyweights and according to Arreola is the hardest hitter he ever sparred with.

Usyk, while a phenomenal boxer, might not have enough power to keep these guys honest.

Usyk has more than enough pop to beat anyone at HW. Couple that with the movement and the crazy workrate and even if he isn't one shot dropping fools he'll be Lo Mas-ing them to the point that they'll want to quit on their stools after a few rounds.

 

Gassiev will KO some bums and fall on his face at world level

Usyk is a danger to everyone at Hw

 

I was looking forward to these two moving up anyways, even more interested in it now

 

If Gassiev doesn't take his training seriously or can't adjust to the range that many HWs bring then he'll suffer at the weight. He'll need a bit more acclimating at HW than Usyk, that's for sure.

 

Usyk will be a top guy, Gassiev I don‘t know, i have my doubts.
