How much of chance can you give Pacman beating Dela Hoya?

I want Pac to win so much, but of those options I have to go with 'No Chance'. I think he has a very very slim, tiny chance of sneaking a decision. He has zero chance of stopping Oscar. Zero.

The size difference cannot be ignored here, it's just too much.

 

Pac has no chance due to his size and style and many people will start to change their tune when they see how much Oscar dwarfs Pac at the weigh in. This fight is a mismatch if Pac was a defensive counter-puncher like PBF then he might have a chance because of defense but Pac doesn't fight like that. He only knows how to go to war and you can't win a fight by doing that against a much bigger and stronger man with great punch resistence at a weight you have no business at. Pac has no chance in this fight and it's easy to see he will have no answer for Oscar's jab or left hook and will be stopped in the mid rounds.:deal

 

Your poll lacks a less-than-half-but-more-than-zero option. Why is that?

I think Pac has a small chance. I'll be rooting for him to win, but I think it more likely that he'll be brutally KO'd. If he is KO'd, it won't diminish my admiration for the Pacman, I just hope that he suffers no lasting damage.

 

Speed skills & Manny has a major advantage in respect of this. All those concerned about the extra weight, feeling it will slow Manny down need not worry. Freddy Roach will have Pacquiao in top shape, 100miles an hour!

Roach recently stated that Manny will weigh near 147lbs come fight time. De La Hoya will likely out-weigh Manny by 14-17lbs come fight time. Hoya will be sluggish from having to make the Welter limit for the first time since Gatti in 2001, seven years ago!

well, I just played Fight Night and a LW Paquiao KO's a WW ODH . . . does that count ? hahaha

seriuously, ODH still has the power and a lethal left hook can turn Paquiao's lights off

 

Personally I say zero... I mean you shouldn't be able to beat a man that out-sizes you by 3 ****ing weight divisions! But if it indeed does happen it would be a very sad result for Oscar being such a great and celebrated figure in boxing for so many years only to end it by getting embarrased by a much smaller man.

 

I can't see any way Pac can win against Oscar...
Too much height, too much jab, too much experience. (De La Hoya)
(On paper Manny don't have the punch to hurt Oscar.... we shall see)
