How much of Martinez trash talk is true?

I absolutely believe he means it, to me you can tell he is noticeably pissed with all the circumstances that have happened. I just hope he can keep his emotions under control, and fight his fight.

 

Seems like Martinez genuinely dislikes Chavez JR to me.

 

I like Martinez, but I think the Chavez team intentionally or unintentinally took him out of his character, and that may play into Jr.'s advantage.

Martinez is hating plain and simple. No way to defend it. Chavez Jr. is further along in his career at his age, with the amount of fights, and with the amount of time he's been fighting pro than Martinez was at his age, with his years as pro, and the amount of fights he's had. In other words, Chavez is trending to accomplish more than Martinez based on level of comp and years fighting.... And remember Jr. had no amateur record.

And if you compare there last 3 fights, they are pretty similar, so I don't know why the **** Sexy is crying.

 

I dont think he is trying to hype the fight up, I think he is trying to hype himself up, he never acts this way and usually when a fighter steps out of character Obviously there is real concern.....

its almost as if he has to convince himself here.... almost as if he is forcing himself to believe Junior isnt ****...

Agreed. You can't watch Chavez last couple fights, and not acknowledge his tremendous progress, his power, size, strength, and iron chin and think it will be a walk in the park, especially considering the one time you were KO it was by a fighter with a similar style... The **** always haunts you no matter what, even if your confident, Martinez is probably thinking, "what if I get KFO again".... Its normal.

 

Jr's a dick and acts like one.Though I have a lot of respect for his father great fighter.:bbb

 

He is only promoting the fight american style.After the fight they will shake hands.

he knows all he has to do is work hard in the gym, and that's it.....trying to impress the haters is something that should be done in the ring, and he has, reason why they're hating even more.....outside the ring he coudn't give two shits what a hater has to say !!

 

Pavlik was able to make for a tough fight early on and that was a Pavlik with all kinds of drinking issues etc... and Pavlik dropped him.... I have Chavez no doubt in my mind what so ever
