Foreman's style is perfect for Tyson IMO, he used his physical strength to manhandle and push fighters into position. Tyson didn't know how to fight on the back foot, how would he handle being pushed back, square on and taking monster uppercuts off Foreman?
Old foremann far too static for tyson. You d have to be a maniac to think an old george beats a prime tyson.
While George is attempting to push back tyson, Mike would be throwing that much, that fast at him he would have to concentrate on defending him self. It would only be later on if George survived that he would be catching mike. But by then both men would be weary and unable to score a knock out blow.
Agree. Any 22-year old with dedication and ambition should have room for improvement bar something unforeseen like a bad injury, accident, disease etc.
Sorry Wass but got to disagree with u about foreman beating tyson. The young George is a different story but the old version against Mike just doesn't look good to me
Can't remember what round it was in the holy field v foreman ft but holy threw about 15 unanswered punches at George and he was no speed demon. And I don't believe at that time holy was quite the bigger puncher as he was later, seemed that way any way, so if that's tyson doing that against old George then he's in trouble. George has a good chin and I see the fight going all the way, but he would take a beating like ruddock I think.
Maybe you're next outcome will be Jaco destroyed Tyson in the first round by an one punch ko. I don't wanna underestimate your stupidity.
For example the 20-21 years old Lewis was an unimportant amateur fighter with several amateur losses by mediocre amateur opponents. He proved he couldn't be a 20-21 years old heavyweight world champion. Or the mighty wlad ? What about the Puritty-wlad fight ?
Thats not really true while he definitely didn't like it because most of his style was based on the henry armstrong effect, he could punch off the back foot if he had to. infact berbick was pushing him back until he was stunned, ruddock was often pushing tyson back with his sheer size while still taking punches, mcneeley(lol) buster mathis. but i believe foreman actually has an equal chance to beat tyson as bowe and holy did around 91
I'd say about 90 percent. If he stayed focused and disiplined after the Spinks win he could have gotten a bit better, I think.
