Shane says he anticipates making $15 mill. So if it were a 70/30 split, that would mean Floyd is making $35 mill. That jumps to $60 mill if it's a 80/20 split. No purse splits have been announced. I'm guessing Shane is getting 35 to 40 percent.
I understand that he's going to make a lot regardless, but what about in relation to Mayweather? I think that tells a story of whether or not Mayweather was tryin to price Shane out or not.
I think a lot of the numbers have to do with the absurd projection that this fight is going to get 3 million buys. I'd wait until afterwards to find out.
