How much power did Duran lose if any comin outa LW. His debut at WW againt Palomino?

    I've wondered what if Duran moved up to welter round 75 and took out a faded Napoles how would things of panned out for him in the welterweight division at that time.

    Roberto Duran was a genuine welterweight just as much as he was a lightweight. It's not like he was a 'blown-up lightweight' at 147.
    He was a hard puncher at both weights.
    His 'natural weight' span was 135 pounds right up to around 153 pounds.
    At FULL middleweight he was a bit 'under-sized' and his power was average against durable middles.

    I think, for me he was a genuine lightweight through the 70's who was that good, he was probably better than the welterweights who were around at that time.

    He just didnt look like the Duran we were used to seeing when he was 154..
