Assuming he wins against Manny, he would seek out a fight against Golovkin?

If he is willing to face such a challenge, win or lose, imo, he would leave the sport of boxing like an absolute BOSS.

He wont win you got a paper champion vs an old school fighter. One has avoided all tough competition the other has not. Mayweather never been in this kind of fight before.

    Easy win for pac.

Why are people obsessed with Floyd fighting GGG or 160 pounders...

I'm not obsessed with it. But it's the #1 thing that could jump Floyd about 10 spots in my ATG ranking.

Floyd seems obsessed with his place in history while considering himself the best of all time. Boxing spectators on the other hand have a very different opinion in regards to his historical placement. A win over Manny and accepting a challenge like Golovkin, that would quickly make everyone (including all the haters) reconsider things.

Because GGG wants to figt at 154, Floyd fought there several times, he wouldn't have to step up. So what do you wanna see if Floyd beats Manny? Khan? Thurman or some other bums? He can fight a monster, one of the biggest starsin this sport right now.

I wanna see Floyd vs GGG much more than against Manny. That fight would have the same hype like Manny vs Floyd in 2009.

even that might be asking too much of him . floyd is too smart to enter the ring in his last fight against a straight killer like ggg. and i don't blame him, gig is a legit super middle . he walks around at 180..i swear manny would take it- but roach would stop him.

Golovkin should stick to feasting on bums.

I'd give him a ton of credit

Even if he fought Khan after this he'd get a lot of credit from me
