He says 100 Kilos plus or minus 5 kilos. That's like between 210 and 230. That's a big range, so hopefully that means they are not concerned with weight but performance.
He already is 231 pounds.No need for bulking to lose then weight for weeks.I guess he will be around 230 in the fight.
Don't think he's bulking up for power, he's doing it for strength. I think it was the strength of Chisora which prompted this apparent weight gain for the Joshua fight. It's a difficult balancing act. People say 'stay lighter for speed' but if that means being out-muscled on the inside he's gonna tire pretty quickly, either by being leaned on or constantly moving to avoid being leaned on. He needs to be light enough to move better than AJ and heavy enough to at least compete in the clinch or close up. Somewhere between 225 and 228 would be my guess. If he scales more than 230, that's a big gamble...
Best answer in this thread so far. His added bulk is not to increase power as many have eluded to. The man needs additional armor to take Joshua's shots, as well as a bit more grit when inside.
Well, there is stuff how someone might increase weight. If someone is not clenelo diva with specific unique natural beef meat. Vs Whiterspoon he looks that was approx 215 lbs and this most likely was his normal weight without special dieting and regimen in order to be ready to make CW limits when fight is scheduled. Vs Chisora approx 217lbs. This might had been achieved naturally if he previously had bulked up a bit more than ~222 lbs and then had worked out in training and pre fight camp. Then he was approx 217 lbs vs Chisora. Now maybe the same plan had been worked out: bulk up, work out till next level. Then he might be now 219-220 lbs for weight ins. If he had bulked up more than 230 lbs before training camp, then most likely will be more than 220 lbs at weight ins. Ofc is he was clenelo, he might had other options like ofc only natural healthy beef meat.
