Everyone should try and get 7-8 hours of sleep a night, fighter or not.

    6-8!
If I get 7-8 I'm happy. If I get 6-7 I need to convince myself I have all the energy in the world, and I will. Under that and I'm a bit dazed. Over that I don't want to get up.

    Yep.
9 hours and then slowly getting up not doing much makes me sluggish.

About 7.5 hours is my ideal!

Who do you know who has trained all day and all night? :huh

99.9% of boxers train at most 2 or 3 hours a day then spend the rest of their time trying to find ways to get into trouble.

I bet he saw some vids of 24/7 Mayweather Hatton, that would explain the "check hook" thread too.

After delahoya fight mayweather joked that he trains at night to keep his minds away from sex / jerking off.

This is different for everyone. Sleeping too long will make you feel tired too.

considering that only the top guys get to fight full time and most boxers have day jobs, Im sure alot of people dont get the full 8 hours of sleep they should be with work and training. I know IKSRTFO is doing some serious training for MMA and he cant be getting much sleep with all the training/classes and fulltime job.
