How much time is between the official weigh in and the ceremonial weigh in?

    Or is it a moot point? Question remains the same as what's in the title of this thread. Thanks!

    Fyi I did not even know there were different weigh ins as the person who posted it, I've never heard of this before until I saw it on a forum.

    Am I naive in thinking this, or is there just ONE weigh-in? Again pls n ty.

    If you're Haney and it's Vegas, you get to weigh in at like 10AM on Friday morning, then "ceremonially" weigh in at 7PM. I'm sure he'll keep getting that time pushed. Soon it'll be 6AM weigh in on Friday.

    UFC is doing official weight ins in the morning and ceremonial midday, usually 24hrs before the card starts.

    Some boxing shows do the same and it seems like they did it for Haney vs Garcia. Usually they just do the midday weight in for boxing though.
