..Blues I remembr hearing that Warren offered Mundine $2,000,000 to fight in the UK when the Kesser fight was in doubt and then Mundine counter offered with something like $1,600,000 for Calzaghe to fight in Australia , Is there any truth to these rumours as Poster Ajay stated on the message board that Mundine had offered "Strong money " for the fight to be stagd down under ...Regards Josey

Choc wouldnt get a sound beating at all, he probably gets beaten but not a bashing. Mundine speed and movement is something Joe has never experienced before. As much as Mundine talks, his talent is good, this much most ppl agree upon.

I know a person close to the Mundines and he assures me that there were extensive talks initiated by them to get the fight even as late as early last yr.

Warren was lying, he was using Mundine's name to get Kessler to rush and agree to lesser terms in case he missed out. The problem with Mundine is because he is a huge star over here he's worth more than a lot of much better fighters. If he can get $2 mil to batter Soliman in Sydney why would he fly to the other side of the world and fight the best super middleweight of all time for the same?

Well it kind of is a real world title whether we like it or not. Not too disimilar to the circumstances Joe picked up his first world title and defended for a decade. Once Joe vacates (and he will) Choc will be the only WBA champ.

No Calzaghe won THE VACANT WBO full title v Eubank and not a made up "Regular Belt " Blues , Calzaghe is the WBA , WBC , And WBO Champ , Mundine walking around with that title is Bogus , He's a decent enough fighter however and would be vey much in the mix when Calzahe tosses all three belts when he does move up to fight @ L/Heavy or when these ABC fellers decide to strip him like the IBF did when he fought movie star Manfredo for Money instead of Robert Steglize who was his mandatory . Just imagine the mess we woul be in if the WBO , IBF And WBC decleared they were having TWO champs per title like the WBA ,there could possibly be 8 men wakng around calling themselves the Super middle weight champion of the world Like Mundine is doing , :huh Regards Josey Wales
