Ps i Ain't Hopkins bashing either just made my prediction, But he should have manned up years ago and fought Calzaghe sooner ,Thats my only gripe as far as hopkins is concerned apart from his never getting beaten by a white boy comments of course.

Lead Right , Wrong , Calzaghe fought and beat Eubanks for the Full WBO belt , Not a "Regular belt" like Choc won v sammy .:patsch

This is why Aussie boxing is so horrific. A average fighter gets a plastic belt and all of a sudden he is Marvin Hagler.

It seems to me that you wont credit Mundine with being a good fighter (not great or fantastic) just good. Have you followed his career closely? I blind person following his boxing timeline will tell you he is a good boxer.

The crowd has spoken and told you we all think its bogus you still harp on him with a belt.

Aussie boxing aint too bad considering the other codes it is stacked up against.

True, the system is a bit off.

As has already been mentioned, Kessler should at least be put as Mundine's mandatory.

The WBA title at has seriously lost all credibilty since Tarver gave it up.

Last four champions: Fabrice Tiozza, Silvio Branco, Stipe Drews and Danny Green. That's garbage.

    Hopkins is the light-heavyweight champion.

Did you read what I said.

That full title made him no4 at 168, whereas Mundine is no3.

    A fighter makes a title.

    Dear Mr. Regards Josey Wales,

The amount Calzaghe was offered was way in excess of $2 mil. Mundines people were prepared to work out a percentage of the gate (20,000+ spectators) on top of $1.6mil. I believe overall the figure would have been closer to $3 million and while it isn't a huge figure it wasn't bad considering this was before he fought Kessler.

One also has to take into consideration that Calzaghe isn't a household name in Australia. The offer made was the best they could do without losing money and was a real attempt at getting him out here. Expecting anything more is unrealistic for a non heavyweight title fight.

Lets wait and see if Joe gives Mundine a crack at his titles in 16 months from now as required under the WBA rules.

Are all Welshman as thick as you or does the ice thaw between your ears come Spring?

The point about Calzaghe not being a household name was in relation to money. You can't sell a fight to a nation if they don't know the opposition!

As for Joe I wouldn't be surprised if he lives to 38 after the thrashing Hopkins gives him.

As for schooling my arse...I'm not your cousin.
