How much weight can a fighter lose during a tough 12 rounder?

    i reckon 6 pounds is a fair estimation, i rememeber calzaghe saying he once lost 8 but he was an active fighter around the ring so 6 would be safe?

    Holyfield lost 15lbs against Qawi, I believe.

    yip and The doctor would then inform him that he hadn’t urinated blood, Holyfield had used up every single ounce of his reserves during the fight that towards the end of the fight he began burning up muscle and it was the residue of his muscle was what he was urinating. His kidneys weren’t working right from being so dried out

    Do you think they actually replenish fluids between rounds?

    Normally a couple of swigs and a swill!!

    it was a 15 round fight.
