Is it just me or did Cotto look a bit like he did a De La Hoya and kept his fighting weight down too?

Damn, Cotto looked so good, better than hes ever looked at the weigh in but during the fight he looked fragile.

I still dont know what to make of this fight. :huh

Manny was insane and Cotto just was'nt Cotto.

How much of that is to do with Manny being so god damn excellent or Cotto being shot, having weight problems etc too? :huh

I just can't believe how much Manny ****ed up Cotto and just played with him like he was a bum.

This was supposed to be a war, a 50/50 fight but it was anything but. :huh

I don't know about you, but I thought he was going to be real competitive with the pac monster after the first round, so he obviously came in at the best shape of his life. But, just like he said, he got hit with shots that he didn't see and those are the ones that hurt you most.

Cotto may or may not have been drained. However, Pacquiao is a bad matchup for him. Even on Cotto's best day, Pac is too much for him.

he was cotto especially round1 but pac's speed seemed to surprise cotto and shot selections confuse cotto even more. anyone who says cotto was shot or weight-drained on that fight needs to have their eyes checked. it was suppose to be a war but a great fighter like pac surprises us all.

agree. though i personally saw him too thin and fragile just as the original thread starter mentioned...he lost bodyfat and had lower muscle mass than ever before. Actually, his body looked a lot like luis collazo's with the tats and all. i think their training, conditioning was tailored to increase Cottos hand speed which to some extent it worked but I think the loss in muscle mass affected him with strength and durability. additionally, hes been looking less and less muscular since the Margo fight which I had brought it up before this fight

No one knows what his weight was at this moment... Im curious on why the official weigh in on fight night was never mention? That is weird, if anyone has the answer to his weight or any source will be great. Im hoping this wasn't something to do with part of the contract.
