I've heard loads of time he was the worst of the Muay Thai converts for this, but how bad was he? At about 5'4, he always looked naturally lean and long, but if you look at him earlier on in his career against say, Magri, he looked vibrant, but late on he looks very dry and increasingly more drawn. Was he a natural featherweight, or even higher? Did he cut down because he was a short guy looking not to be a short fighter, or did he balloon up in weight between fights? The second option seems implausible given his work ethic, and Thai fighters are known to train all year round and be prepared to fight regularly. Any info' would be much appreciated.
I've found out now, one of those healthy eaters who was forced the cut weight. The Thais do love their rice, and I would imagine keeping it in their country and setting up their weigh-ins, combined with the climate, meant they could keep doing it, if they fought regularly and trained hard all the time to keep it down. I dunno' how he kept it up so long, I would say that was definitely the cause of Galaxys loss to Espinosa as well.
