In their primes, in terms of big pay days?

Naz must of been getting a fortune due to how popular he was in his time.

I believe for Benn/Eubank II, Benn got £1m and Eubank got 800k or something like that. I believe they mention it on that Jonathan Ross show they did before the fight.

Benn's biggest was against Wharton (£1,175,000) and Eubank's biggest against Close II (£1,250,000).

(Eubank got equiv of 1,000,000 dollars against Rocchigiani, who got equiv of 750,000 dollars - so it said on ITV, ..most of it from Premiere PPV in Germany)

Eubank was supposed to be on £1,250,000 a fight on SKY (eight fights in one year for 10mill) but he ended up with 6.5mill from seven fights according to one newspaper.

Eubank's £850k against Benn II was net/tax-free whereas Benn's £1mill was gross! Eubank out-smarted him! That's why Benn left Hearn in anger. Eubank actually took home more, despite it being reported Benn had the higher purse.

For '92 it was reported that Eubank's annual income was 3mill that year.

I know Eubank/Watson I was a '£1,000,000 fight' but not sure how they split the purse.

Benn got 400k against Eubank I (not the 1mill Hearn told him he'd get to arouse his interest) - Eubank got 100k, and in Benn's next fight against Robbie Sims he got 35k!

Naz made much more because he had SKY PPV and HBO PPV combined! But I always thought HBO copied the Eubank/SKY thing with Hamed/Jones and in Germany they copied it for Maske/Michalczewski.

I seem to recall in one of Naz's fights, it said he was making 7 million.

I think that Eubank so-called 'World Tour' ran from July '94 to July '95 and was seven fights not eight fights after Ray Close pulled out of a third fight set for early Feb '95, not the success it promised to be with trips to Hong Kong, Rome and Euro Disney falling through

Benn's last five fights together picked up nearly as much as the previous 40 combined in purses, with SKY and Showtime on-board instead of ITV alone (and occasional free-to-air US channel)

That era was a turning era in terms of setting up money-generating capabilities for boxers

Also let's not forget that huge $50,000,000 purse offer from Don King for a Benn-Roy Jones fight ($25mill apiece) - that was unheard of
Shame for Nigel it didn't come off!

Frank paid Eubank 400k a fight for Eubank's last four championship fights of his career when Eubank didn't even have a title! He was lucky to get that. When Benn or Collins were challengers under Hearn, they got less than 100k, and they won. Eubank kept losing and making millions - he should be thankful to Frank W in all honesty because it's no secret he was having issues with the taxman at the time. It caught up with him 10 years later of course... but VVarren's millions when he was a title-less, TV-less unsponsored challenger kept him going for a bit..
