How Much Will Cotto And Margarito Weigh On Fight Night?

    Does HBO ever mention how much Cotto weighs going into the ring? For some reason they didn't say how much he weighed against Gomez, Mosley, or Judah. When Margarito fought Cintron in April on the same card with Cotto they did list Margarito and Cintron's weight at 160 for Margarito and 158 for Cintron, but not Cotto's when he fought later that same night. What can we expect Margarito and Cotto to weigh on the night of April 26th?

    As i see it, cotto should beat margs..that lose from williams may still have a effect on margs... who knows?

    Because it would have been a factor in the Margo Cintron fight.

    Cotto could have weighed 130 and Gomez would have been KTFO. If you are being really critical, you could say that taking five to dispatch Gomez was poor from Miguel, but taking into account his showboating and switch hitting his performance was about par.

    WW's who are in good shape usually weigh around 156-160 on fight night.

    cotto usually weighs 154-156 on fight night, not sure about margo.

    Do you have a source by any chance? I couldn't find anything for the Gomez, Mosley, or Judah fights.

    Well they they have listed his weight several times before on HBO that's how we all knew he had problems making 140 in the past... but if for some reaosn they don't now-a-days it's usually not HBO's fault. Sometimes fighters just choose not to step on the unofficial scale before a fight.
