Yeah, thats what I'd do, watched Holyfield 2 weeks ago, it was god awful. Although i couldnt risk it going down on me <ahem> mid fight, usualy I wouldnt be overly fussed, but not with a fight of this magnitude.

As you say I'd like to watch this one on a decent TV but for catching the big USA fights theres no option most of the time. Its stream or don't watch it at all.

Depends on where you get the stream from, i have seen fights on the net almost as good quality as tv.

I pay for a decent streams but I still have to watch it on my PC....I'd rather have it on my TV. I really should get around to connecting the two I suppose.

I'm tempted but I just can't justify throwing out a perfectly good 32" TV....

I know exactly what you mean but the New Year Sales can be very tempting so I succumbed and upgraded mine.

It wasn't a purchase i've come to regret (unlike some of the retail therapy and spontaneous buys i've indulged in) but I did have to rearrange the lounge just to accommodate it so bear that in mind!

True, but I don't think US viewers have to pay a monthly subscription fee like we do for Sky.

I know 25quid seems a lot, but this is a fight that even your non-boxing mad mates will want to see, so I suggest a few mates round and share the cost rather than missing out

I'd still pay for this fight if they charged £100

And all because Man City are above (and will finish above) Everton?

I was reading the boxrec forums and it seems someone emailed Sky who told him the price was actually the standard £14.95. I hope this is true!

Its an absolute disgrace that SKY have pulled a cheap stunt like that, hiking the price up a tenner just cos they have all you Hatton fans by the short & curlies.

& Im not at the wind up or trying to be funny, its a dirty rotten ****in thing to do. Lets be honest here, Hatton is a massive underdog if you are a betting man, so its not like its a 50/50 fight on paper. SKY are just fleecing hattons fans for every penny they can. Nasty stuff from a company that can afford not to do things like this.
