Body shots and uppercuts will eventually do Fury in. But I completely disagree on the Klitschko fights. Fury won in an eyesore, boring stinkfest that I cannot even watch again. AJ won by KO. It was an up and down fight, but he won through the fire. And bouts like that will help him against guys like Fury, Wilder and the rest.
Oh, yeah and unlike Fury, A.J had been stopped in distance by guy who was laugh and jokes object in forums and YT comments before 1 st his fight vs A.J. 41 y.o Wlad's beatup is best fight A.J is capable for. Last his pro fight was vs 39 y.o Pulev who is less dangerous than Dorticos, Briedis, Usyk or Whyte or pre covid Povetkin. King of the World for sure.
It will have an effect. Any other fight and people would admit that it will have an effect. Even AJ fans know it will have an effect. Imagine if AJ was out of proper fight camps/fights for 18months, they would not consider him properly tuned. This is why Team Fury are fools making this fight with a disadvantage, and one reason why Hearn is so keen to jump on it now. Don't you love it how AJ fans will pretend it wouldn't impact Fury's form but Hearn is rushing the fight partly because of this advantage? What worms. So it will impact Fury. But at the same time it's their fault for taking the fight after such inactivity.
I don't know how anyone can watch AJ fight and think he's the man to be the one to give Fury problems. lel. As Mark Breland says, "I could beat AJ" because if you have a boxing eye all you can see are flaws, everywhere... Watching from outside the ring is one thing, but Fury seemingly sees even more flaws when he's in front of men by the way he handles them.
Unless Fury has aged significantly overnight, I don't see ring rust being an issue. Also Fury is renowned for sparring, apparently thats his main way of being match fit. I fully expect to see the best version of Fury against AJ.
Ring rust probably will be there for the opening rounds or so. But Fury, from what I have seen, has stayed in the gym.
And should i care if this will affect him or not? That dumb fat..... had a fight booked in December, but the lazy..... decide not to fight, so forget to use that as an excuses.
I feel Hearn is jumping on it for primarily one reason £££££ $$$$$$$$. We are dealing with a situation where the pandemic could rear its head again and mess up any big fight plans AJ the golden goose money making machine lost the title once, against a portly lil gent and spoiled the money mens party for a short while. Fury had his issues resulting in losing titles and immediate future big money bouts So yeah Hearn of course wants to bank the cash while both fighters have the belts, Fury vs AJ is going to be off the scale moneywise, either fighter against anyone else would be a pittance in comparison.
Question though. Did AJ go 12 rounds with Wallin and almost lose on cuts? Did he also get caught on steroids? Was he also put to sleep by Wilder and knocked down by a cruiserweright?
