If he's actually serious about training and a comeback I say 255 - 260 lbs. If he doesnt give a damn and just wants some money I say 285 lbs. Is that Lennox Lewis in your avatar anut?
hopefully he wont be over 260......why is he even fighting? last time i saw him he looked half dead, ooooolllld as ****, who gave him another boxing license?
a couple of days ago they said on rtl (the k-bros channel), that he is 275 at the moment. so maybe he will lose a couple of pounds more and come in at 270.
I don't think he'll go in 280 again, although it wouldn't surprise me. He has been doing a fair amount of sparring both in Germany and the States over recent months. But he still looks well heavy. So I reckon 270 sounds about right. No way in Hades do I expect him to get close to 260. Even the 263 vs Rhode in 2004 was a bit suspect, considering Bowe just announced it and refused to step on the scales.
From the pics and footage I saw I'd say he's not as ridiculously fat as he was in his last bout anymore, but he's still overweight. I'd say 260-265lbs
To Monstar (quoting didn't work..): Why is he even fighting. I'll tell you: Bowe is surrounded by a bunch of yes-men who lie to him, telling him he can beat both Klitschkos by 2009. Bowe never was a smart guy, so he listens to them. Plus he's brain-damaged. Bowes manager and his trainer just don't give a **** about him, they just wanna cash in on him. If they just cared a little bit for the guy, they'd be honest and tell him to retire, or just leave him if he insists on continuing. Bowe got his boxing licence in Germany, so you can tell the commission there don't care about his health either. That's boxing business (or rather circus) in a nutshell for you.
