I think the confidentiality clause says all we need to know about how well they are going to do out of this fight. You will find Fury is receiving a flat fee, Only Wilder has a rematch clause and Wilder will get a good amount of money but that depends on how well the fight goes. They want to be able to pay Wilder so much money for this fight that they can show it to Hearn and either demand the fight is made in America "where the money is, here is the proof" or atleast demand a similar but higher amount of money from Joshua for that contract to be made.

 

Why? Fighting a guy who no one knows if he is anywhere near his best???

Going by Fury's last two comeback performances if Wilder doesn't ko Fury in a couple of rounds he will get less respect than before...

Really his team has banked on Fury being a shell of what he was so they can use his name to get more money off AJ...

Only Wilder fanbois are trying to drum this up as some sort of prime v prime battle...

We can only hope Fury does perform and takes this title and then gets back what is rightfully his..

 

It's widely reported that they both have a rematch option and they are equal at 50% of the proceeds. I've never seen credible reports of Fury having a flat fee or only Wilder having a rematch clause.

Anyway, Wilders take will be largely dependant on how the PPV goes. If it does 500k, which is the unlikely but probably the upward limits of reasonable possibility, he could get between 12 to 15 mil. If it's 300k, a more likely best case scenario, he could get 7 to 9 mil. 200k is probably the most likely figure and that would be maybe 5 mil. If it completely bombs and does 100k than maybe a couple mil.

 

The division is so shallow that even Fury with question marks is better than anyone not named Joshua.

 

Why does it matter? It’s not like he’s going to let you help him spend it is it?

Great answer.will defo earn my respect as will Fury and whatever the result like Spence and Brook they should get big respect for this.Course there will be the usual set of guys making fun out of PPV figures and money earned but they just weird aren’t they?

 

Sadly true and with Parker and Hugie flattering to deceive and Miller being protected like **** the division needs a few more quality guys,time guys like Joyce,Dubois and Miller tested themselves.
