An unbelievable amount on Calzaghe. I had 3500$ running on him vs. Kessler, try double that amount and 1000$ of it on a stoppage.:D

Hopkins is going to get massacred.

I'm far from rich mate, betting is just a primary source of income for me at the moment. The 1800 or so I won off of Calzaghe-Kessler was rent, food, bills....

It's serious for me now because I'm not fully employed and Florida is terribly expensive to live in with a **** poor economy when it comes to jobs. But betting on boxing has gotten me by comfortably.

Hopefully the bookies will be swayed by the media and will install Joe at even money or 8/11 like vs Kessler. Thats my overdraft right there, well a part of it :yep

Never liked Florida that much was a bit tourist filled, much prefered the mid-west, California was ok too but I liked Wyoming a great deal, beutiful place.

I live in North Tampa. :D

Which site do you use for betting? I only recently started betting online, using Bodog. When Mayweather dropped to -205 I found it reasonable to bet my entire account on him against Hatton. I thought about putting some of it on UD (for +130), since that seemed like an extremely likely outcome to me, but I knew there was a decent chance for KO so I went the safe way and bet straight up. I advise you to do the same for this fight, don't flush a grand down the toilet going for the KO odds. It ain't happening.

I actually was dead set on Floyd by KO and had a large bet on it at 5/1 odds, but I am glad you did what your head told you to do. That was a great move betting a large sum on Floyd, who was a dead ringing certain win over a piece of garbage like Hatton. It's not about always getting good odds, it's about tactically placing money so that you can most likely get some extra money.

Bet with your head and instinct, never with your heart. If Calzaghe was fighting Dawson instead of Hopkins, I'd not place a large bet because Dawson would be real live in the fight, even though Calzaghe is my favourite ever.

Hopkins having all he can handle with Winky and even getting tired against Winky is kind of an omen that Calzaghe will wear him out dead tired and keep the punishment going, which could lead to a stoppage.
