    I don't think it would matter that he is old. Him coming out of retirement for a fight of this magnitude would be a very big deal.

    It would be huge in Britain and Germany but I'm talking about PPV buys in the USA if that's what the author is referring to.

    No I am not just talking about ppv buys. I am talking about the whole thing, ppv buys, ticket sales, all of it.

    It was HUGE back then as far as I remember and almost ALL boxing fans were talking about this fight and were DESPERATELY calling for it. The longer Lewis waited the more were attracted to it, I remember I was off boxing for a while back then and the waiting for this fight is what brought me to this site.

    Maybe I was the only one too hyped up about it but I also remember many people having this as the number one fight to discuss back then.

    It sure wouldn't get my PPV. I didn't pay fo Fenech Nelson III and this is about as meaningful. V.K. is the only one who wants to see that fight.

    With complete respect, Im not sold on this whole idea of it not being a very big deal these days. Granted, it would probably not get as much $ and attention as it would have back then, but this would still be one big fight.

    Sad for fans, smart for Lewis. What does he do these days? I know he has been making celebrity appearances on some shows, but outside of that, does he just live the good life with his family? Is he invested in anything else?

    He was waiting for the Tyson rematch which would of fetched him close to 30 mil, I could see why he turned down Vitali, wouldnt you if your told you would get double the money for less work?
