Here is a report of Peter Jackson's general condition 2 years before he came out of retirement to face Jeffries.

    Thanks, Senya. A major point:

This quote happened after Hart defeated Johnson. Had there been a larger purse for Jeffries, he'd fight Hart. How good could Johnson have been in 1905 is he could not beat Hart? Does anyone care to answer? In a similar fashion, he was bested by an older Hank Griffin, a fighter Jeffries bounced around when Jeffries was the champion.

Seriously, the best fighter Johnson meet from 1899-1904 while Jeffries was champion was likely Choysnki, and he KO'd Johnson cold in three rounds. Or you can argue Hart, who also beat him. We have already been over the fact that Sam Mcvey had 1 year of experience and was a teenager when he meet Johnson.

I fail to see this great fighter in the given time line from 1899-1904 and losing to Hart who was not as good as several of the men Jeffries beat according to the historians who them should close the book. End of.

As for the poster Mcvey, the I think replying to him is pointless. He ignores facts, changed the topic when pressed, can't read properly.

I hope will be busy re-arranging his lawn furniture for the 10th time or goes on a state assigned vacation in the near future so we can be spared of his stuiptiy.

Jeffries gave Fitz the re-match and KO'd him quicker. In addition, Fitz beat top fighters post the 1899 loss to Jeffries and post the 1902 loss to Jeffries. Based on ring results, you could argue Fitz was deadly as ever for the rematch and remained dangerous post the defeat.

I also think Fitz would have KO'd Johnson from 1899-1903.

This thread is about Jeffries can you grasp that? You want to talk about literacy comprehension? Do you want to go over this post of yours?
Its gobblegegook! A ret*rded chimp could do better!

NB Still waiting for those verified offers of $30,000 for Johnson to fight Langford that you've had over a week to find?

Here is an opinion of the fighting ability of Peter Jackson when he faced Jim Jeffries.

" A few years before perhaps Peter was a great fighter, but against me he was only a shell".

Jim Jeffries in his autobiography Two Fisted Jeff.
