Everybody's waiting for a cash out fight with AJ. It's disgusting to see the reports Wilder may have turned down a huge offer to fight Whyte. Hoping it's not true but Wilder has given no reason to doubt it (we're now in the 5th month since his last fight, the good side of Wilder before was that he at least fought comparatively often, now we don't even have that).

Anyway, there are two other, vastly less proven belt holders than AJ. Can they leverage their belts into a 50/50 deal? Close to it? Or more like 70/30 to reflect who brings all the money and credibility? Or do both sides take a hard line and the fights just don't happen? (Assuming both are still champs over the next 18 months).

Neither will get 50/50. It would be something like 70/30.

70/30 sounds fair. Neither guy brings much to the table other than the belt. Wilder fights in gymnasiums in Alabama and Parker is so far away i don't think he has a huge following but correct me if I'm wrong someone.
I believe Parker will fight Povetkin. It's a good money match and I think AJ will go Wlad, Pulev, Wilder

Joshua is not a champion. Wilder is not a champion. Parker is not a champion. You have to unify the belts to be called champion or beat the lineal hvw champion. Since Fury is out, unify the titles. The Brits actually think that Joshua is the champion. Foh with that.

And please, don't ever mention Whyte's sorry knocked out by Joshua's ass until he becomes someone's mandatory-if he ever does. Hearn doesn't run the division. He's the one trying to cash checks at the expense of Joshua. I don't care who gets what in a unification. There is no champion. Make the fights that the fans want to see.

Your not alone in having your opinion on what constitutes a"champ", so even though I disagree, I won't argue too hard on it. But don't you think Wilder Whyte would be something the fans want to see MUCH more than Wilder Stiverne II?

The fans don't want to see either fight. They want Joshua Wilder.

Why doesn't Joshua want to unify the belts? Why?

Do you think Wilder will fight for that? I think Parker would, but I could see Wilder drawing a 50/50 line. He's good at beating top 20, sub top 10 opponents and the WBC doesn't appear to be willing to ever make him fight someone else, so why not draw the line in the sand if you're Wilder(since you clearly don't care too much about legitimacy)?

But that fight won't happen this year. So which would they prefer of the alternatives?

It really depends on Wlad. If he does not take the rematch, Joshua can ask for another exemption from Pulev and Wilder can do the same with Stiverne and give the fans what they want.

He's got a contractual obligations with Wlad. I think he wants it, hence the big offer from hearn for the Whyte fight (which would make Wilder more marketable in UK).

I'm not dogging Wilder skill wise, I think it would be close to 50/50 Wilder AJ, if they came into it with equal confidence. But Wilders got to fight some live bodies or it will be Tyson Spinks setup.

Drew, leave Whyte out of this. The UK fans know who Wilder is. Wilder has his own obligations with his own promoter and manager. Joshua just fought a 41 year old Wlad. His first true step up fight. And now Hearn thinks that he can dictate who should fight who? Brazeale didn't have to fight Whyte so why does Wilder? Wilder has the American angle going for him. Beating up Whyte who Joshua ko'd already won't help. Whyte looked terrible against Chisora and now the Brits want to see Whyte Wilder? Really, lmao.

We don't agree about much, but I actually like you most of the time Blizzy(doesn't mean I won't tear into you if we get really into it again sometime). I like that you aren't afraid to be the odd man out. And you aren't pretentious in arguments, just a d(i)ck, which I can respect much more.

Just answer me this, if Wilder is able to fight either Whyte or Stiverne next, but can't fight AJ, which would you rather see, as a fan of the sport? I'll let you have the last word on this subject.

The Whyte fight because he already beat Stiverne. But if you saw Whyte's last fight, then you know that he has "0" chance against Wilder.
