Only a grand? I would pay that now to see Cotto or Pac or even Haye against Wlad. 5 Large to see Tyson vs Lewis live :good
Depends on the seats and which hotel I'd be staying at. I'd be digging on just being back in time, checking out everyone in their 1970's polyester suits, women in haltertops and hot pants, men with afros most likely blocking my view. All this would be so heady I probably wouldn't even be watching the fight. I would pay $175.63.
Damn could you get more precise with price :rofl:rofl Hmmmm:think I'd break my piggy bank and sell my mother:admin to see Tyson Vs Bruno 1 :smoke
If you didn't know the result you would, that was one of the biggest grossing fights in history. I remember how pumped everyone was for that fight.
This thread, T, brings to mind something I've been thinkin about for awhile and wonderin' if it could be a money-maker: Would die-hard fight fans pay to see state-of-the-art computer-graphic match-ups on an giant IMAX screen of legends that posters have long-pitted against each other -- and heatedly argued about -- in mythical match-ups (in every weight class)? e.g. Marciano, Louis, Jeffries, Liston, Dempsey, Jack Johnson, the great John L, Greb, Salvidor Sanchez, Benny Leonard, Robinson, Pep, and on and on. Not only could it be light-years more life-like than Madden Football,(feeding in every imaginable piece of information, and using the best voice actors) it could include all the 24/7 pre-fight hype, final press conferences (with explosions) and interviews with fight greats from every era offering predictions, e.g John L or Daniel Mendoza picking the winner of Graziano vs. LaMotta. On each card, there'd be three 15-round championship bouts. Four shows a year. If you'd go, what would you be willing to pay?
true but it was really sad seeing tyson look a shell of himself. i would pay many billions to see lewis fight a prime tyson
it would be hard to pull that off as a lot of ffotage is not available of the great fighters before 1950. but you never know they did something similar with ali and marciano in the 60's
