I'd say about 75%-80% correct in all mainstream boxing matches, where do you rank?

Then maybe you should start gambling on the fights.

It seems like the more I know the less I am right. I am about the same.

I base my big fight predictions opposite of Teddy Atlas. Using this formula, I've correctly predicted roughly 93% of all of major fights in the past few years.

    Thanks Teddy.

Considering that a lot of fights are givens, I'm probably up around the 70/80 % over all. But for the ones that are evenly contested..barely better than 50%.

    that seems about accurate :good

Bigger competetive fights are too damn hard to pick a winner correctly the majority of the time.

the thing is i often bet on a fighter i dont think will win just because of good odds.

Good to see some honesty floating round here,,man do I ****ing hate the peeps that hide when theyre wrong then the big high and mighty when the boxer whose nuts theyre sucking wins. I guess the beauty of boxing is we're never short of an upset,,sure upsets happen in sport,,but the nadals, tiger woods,Man U's etc normally triumph,,whereas with boxing you never can quite tell. I'd say even being a boxing nut on the 50/50 fights I'm only 60/40....But then there really arent that many 50/50s are there,,most tend to edge one way or the other. For instance,,upcoming - Diaz/Malignagi=Diaz win,,JMM/Floyd=floyd,,Klit/Chag=Klit,,Cotto/Clottey=Cotto,,Khan/Kotelnik=Khan,,M.Hatton/Judah=Judah Fair enough I bet Im not right on them all but I bet I get the majority because they all could be competitive,,and Im always hopefull of the upset,,but not completely 50/50 huh? Pac vs Floyd is in my humble opinion very close to 50/50 tho,,cant wait!!

Even when I do manage to pick em these days I don't pat my self on the back. I just figure the coin landed on the right side today. There are too many intangibles. It's like with horse racing. You can know all the form and stats, but one horse will come out and do something you never knew it was capable of doing, or a horse will one day, for some unknown reason, just not run well.

It's hard to say . . . I usually flip flop as the fight nears, leading to my feeling like I was right because at seperate times I genuinely believed one or the other was going to win, the last several fights though that I made a prediction of were

    Klitschko Gomez - Gomez

    Williams Wright - Wright

    Pac Hatton - Pac

    Pac DLH - DLH

    so, 50/50

here's two predictions you can put in the book though,
    Mayweather knocks out Marquez
    and decisions Manny

i go through streaks....in 2007 i couldnt predict jack **** right, then in 2008 i nailed most fights....then my streak ended when i picked hatton over pac.....so probably go into a losing streak for a little bit...

i'm picking cotto by KO over clottey in dramatic fashion....
and marquez gets "gatti'd" by floyd, marquez is committing suicide.

In the last 3-4 years about 90-95% of the fights I predicted.

Was wrong with Cotto vs. Plaster, Arslan vs. Jones, Huck vs. Cunningham
