Hill runs or sprints (jog 100m, walk 100m, sprint 100m,) are probably the best for boxing as they replicate the fitness needed for fighting in rounds

Right now i'm closer to the "fat guy who cant be assed to stand up and go running" rather than an elite athlete

Sounds pretty awesome from what you've said. Are there professional boxers out there using this instead of doing roadwork?

The bands that are connected; do they make it harder or easier? Or can that be adjusted wether its for rehabilitation or fitness purposes?

Tom Theres a cross section, of all Sports have used it. With outstanding results, in rehab strength and conditioning. Plus its a wonderful tool for losing weight, as we have found out. It depends who is using it as regards the resistance used, which can be as little as 30 lb to 140 lb for strength and conditioning. All without impact.

Rest dude, sprints are hard on your legs and nothing should get in the way of sparring!

I hardly ever run. at most I do 2 or 3 a week and that is at most and only in about 8 weeks out a ful year. Running isn't the be all and end all......unless your a runner.

run 6 days a week, take sundays off.

dont belive these guys saying you dont have to run and ****. that seems to be some sort of new school way of thinking. dont believe it, **** the "studys" and blah blah. run like the old school fighters and your stamina will reflect that.

I do a 3/4mile run a couple times a week usually although ive been slacking this last week at a moderate pace and im going to add 1 sprints session and 1 longer run (6miles at first then build it up) a week.

You can run if you want, nobody said you can't, but running 6 days a week is a waste of time and energy unless you're a runner.

Other than that I agree, ignore science and stay in the past, what has science ever done for mankind?

Yeah I agree man, how about all those text books and experiments that say that water is made of hydrogen and oxygen molecules, what a load of ****. My mumma told me that water is made of Gods tears. Those arrogant experts still carry on with the 'I'm right you're wrong' attitude, no respect for my mumma and the knowledge passed down for generations through my inbred family.
