34 and been watching since I was born I guess. My dad was an amateur boxer till he went to prison. People say he could have been the greatest. His name is Rakim Oaks.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. But I didn't feel like looking it up to be sure. Good catch.

But he wasn't capable of "taking the G-Man bombs" as you say. McClellan knocked him out in the 5th and the 1st. Jackson had the same weakness Hearns had, shaky chin. There's no way he could handle Golovkin's power. He got knocked out six times.

He was stopped in his feet, G-Man power was too much for everyone, he lost in the rematch by body shots, i'm not saying that his chin was the best, but people says that he had a bad chin only because he was stopped in all his losses, but he had a decent chin, 4 of his 6 losses were past his prime and his only two losses in his prime were against an all time great in McCallum and another great fighter in McClellan.

27, can remember boxing quite far back in my memories through family etc - Bruno v Tyson 2 is probably the first one I have memories of taking place, but not watching. After that, the fights I remember are Prince Naseem fights towards the end of the 90s and then the Tyson fight that happened in Glasgow in 2000, if I remember correctly. Didn't watch too much of it in my early teens but since I was old enough to determine my own bed times I've pretty much watched boxing constantly.

nearly 49, I was thinking about this the other day and I'm sure I can remember Bugner vs Cooper from 1971. I just remember the boos on TV and my dad's disapproval of the result.

34 next month, and since I was a kid with my dad in the era of Iron Mike and the 4 kings...but as more of a casual until the very late 90s when I got heavily into the super bantams and feather scene (then on absolute FIRE and with tons of historic matches being televised on the regular on HBO), diehard ever since.
