im not a fan of broner but come on the guy doesnt have a glass chin. Anyone would wobble if they got hit by Maidana. The guy has power. If anything Broner showed hes got a decent chin and a lot of heart for finishing the fight unlike ORTIZ

It depends who he beats though, because I don't think he can shake the public perception of this loss if he goes to fighting bums. One thing I would say though is that his people needs to keep him away from a Maidana rematch, because Maidana is bad for Broner because Broner tries to be like Floyd and stand back and pick shots off of Maidana whereas a guy like Maidana lets his hands go. Picking shots looks smooth and epic when you don't get hit back like Floyd, and that's the part of the equation Broner doesn't have. He tries to do the same, but gets tagged in the aftermatch and it makes him look inactive and weak against an aggressive fighter like Maidana. Floyd can command a fight against an aggressive volume puncher because he throws accurate shots and do not get hit back. So he needs to fight someone with a brand name next, but he needs to not go back in the ring with Maidana a second time.

What are you talking about... Broner jumped up two divisions and in his second fight he fought one of the hardest punching welterweights.

Broner walked through a ton of shots. Just cause someone gets hurt doesn't mean they have a glass jaw. I would question his defense not his chin.

If he had GREAT SKILLS it would be easy, if you could writte this loss to one punch or something like that but he got destroyed and we got to see that he lacks skills big time, BUM level footwork BUM level punch output, average defense AT BEST(getting hit with wide shots over and over again), and at 147 he fights guys his size and he doesnt have to much power, so he really got exposed and is as of now ****e* he has nowhere to go at 154 he will lose to any top 10 fighter, at 140 Garcia Matthyse and Provodnikov he really doesnt know where to go.

If he changes his attitude right now and gets serious about boxing, it's not too late for him to change the perception people have of him.

This either makes him or breaks him, he either never recovers mentally or the penny drops hard with him that he is very much just amongst the pack at 147lbs, he isn't and will never be Floyd. But he can still be a top fighter if he gets serious now.

I was going to say he should change trainer because they didn't seem to know what to do or have any sort of plan A. But the way he spoke to them in the corner indicates he has no respect for them anyway, maybe they did have a gameplan plus plan B for Maidana but Broner thinks he knows it all and wouldn't listen?

He's a moron of a guy, 24 year old man but acts like an obnoxious wee teenage lassie. But he does have some talent, even if it's not what a lot of people thought it was.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him fight a couple more times and then vanish. The way he lives his lifestyle is a fast forward to bankruptcy.

As much as I am not in favor of religion, this could be a case where someone like Broner can "find god" and have a rebirth.

I am not a Broner fan an I feel he bought this on himself. makes out he is as good as Floyd when he is know were near as talented. calling good fighters easy work fighters that could beat him. but he is young enough to improve an he still could have a great career.

To tell everyone you are the greatest fighter of all time & no one can ever beat you is fine IF you can back it up. Muhammad Ali could & did. Biggest tragedy is We never ever got to see Ali in his prime. That unwarranted 3 I/2 yr layoff denied us of that.
Before you jump all over me for saying that remember Ali stayed here and faced the music & accepted his punishment. Do you recall a guy named William Jefferson Clinton??
He fled to England to avoid the draft his punishment was to be made President of the United States
