How or why did 'Tyson' snap to embarrass himself in 1997?

maybe biting his ear wasn't the best thing for him to do.. but I 100% understand why he went nuts.. Holyfield fought very dirty in that second fight and there were quite a vew headbutts..

well it is an extreme thing to do but what should he do let holyfield again have the advantage again because it's hard to win fights with massive cuts on your eyes like that.....

i do agree with you about that refs let holyfield head but people as much he wants

Tyson's explained it enough himself. He was frustrated by both the headbutts & Holyfield being such a good opponent.

I love Mike Tyson but I think it was a combination of the headbutts and realizing that Evander was landing too clean.. So he reacted to get him back and to also get the fight stopped maybe.

 

Rubbish. Sure, he was a little loose with his words, but well in touch with reality.

He knew fine well that the fight was over after he bit Holyfield but pretended that he still wanted the fight.

He should have took acting lessons. It will take more than a few profanities and an angry look to convince me.
