Well let's put it this way, he has never ever been beaten when close to his prime at 140 and there is nothing in today's division that stands out as someone who would beat him when close to his prime Rated just right really

I just can't come up with a reasonable explanation as to why so many people think Hatton EASILY crushes the entire 140 lb division right now when it's filled with MUCH better fighters than he has ever beat. Add that in with Hatton's truly poor boxing skill and unspectacular athleticism, and I am at a loss. Are they brittards? They seem to collectively have little knowledge of boxing beyond a few fighters.
Hatton can't forget his greatness in the past and this is why he comes back to fight again. He should not have done so.
He has a shitty style. But has great strength and pressure, plus bodywork. And that took him a bit far.
His prime was not as long as it could have been therefore rated slightly less than his actual potential. Hatton v Tszyu was a dirty fight and it was inevitable that someone would get hurt. Kostya did. That fight is not the best example of Hattons ability but a good example of the fighter in him.
