It was Wlad who stank up the joint against Sultan by batting away his opponent's arm every time he tried to jab. Wlad outweighed the guy by a monstrous amount, was clearly superior in every way, yet refused to put his foot down. Don't need to get defensive and sugar coat it. And yeah, Haye ran from Valuev, but he was giving up 80 pounds on the guy. How would Wlad fight against someone 80 pounds heavier and 10 inches taller than him? Exactly. But do you think Haye would refuse to engage someone he outweighed by 20+ pounds? No chance. Wlad still did, and does with frequency.

But you say it was Haye's fault HBO turned their back on heavyweight boxing. That's bull****. We both know that if Haye grows a pair and signs for Wlad there is a damn good chance HBO would buy it. Without Haye Wlad is dead in America. Because to the casual fan he's like watching paint dry. He's still a great fighter, but he doesn't ignite interest outside the hardcore.

Haye is a coward for ducking the Klitchkos, but you really need to keep some perspective.

That was a bit annoying to watch. However I'd actually like to see more boxers do this when they are getting snubbed of a title shot or a mega fight. Mosley got into Floyd's face as well and it seemed to have worked.

The thing is all that trash did work for Haye. Good for him. He got Wlad to become more than interested in fighting him. But when it was time for them to finalize the fight...we all know what happened. What a disgrace.
