1) UFC completely sucks, Dana sucks and its fighters by and large suck.

2) PRIDE was nigh-on perfect and all its champions and cards were and will always remain the best ever.

3) Anyone who enjoys the UFC is an idiot who doesn't know what the **** they're watching or talking about.

The most annoying thing about him is that right now the sport is growing in leaps and bounds.

* All the best fighters in the world are under one roof fighting each other on the regular.

* The sport's main organization is making serious long-term efforts to grow the sport internationally, staging major events in five continents next year.

* More and more gyms are appearing, more and more well-rounded fighters are appearing, and the talent pool is getting more and more competitive.

* This year and going forward, every week there are going to be quality fights broadcast live in primetime on the biggest sports network on the planet.

* Mainstream acceptance of MMA as a legitimate athletic endeavour has never been a reality until the last five years. Now it is.


And as these exciting events are unfolding, as new ground is broken in MMA, all scurla can do is throw pathetic tantrums about how millions of people in the West who haven't already watched MMA for a decade are now getting into the sport. He cries that it's not an irrelevant, steroid-ridden, mafia-controlled, pro-wrestling-based freakshow anymore. atsch

Sorry I wasn't into MMA ten years ago when it was an all-but-illegal Japanese freak show that was completely irrelevant as a sport in the West. Guess I missed the boat forever eh? :conf
