There's no point in trying to have a rational conversation with this guy about Floyd, he takes everything that is not a complete undying praise for Floyd as an insult to him and his guy Floyd and a reason to start defending Floyd even though no one said anything particularly negative or worth defending against. what a joyboy

and According to joyboy Blade bummer, 2 guys expressing similar opinions, 1 joining the forum in June, one joining in July, = 1 guy with an Alt. LOL what a knob

i was one of the at least few thousands who went to see floyd train before his marquez fight in canning town , east london. And this wasnt even publicized before hand, it was just word of mouth spreading and on bbc forums. We couldnt even get in to see him train people were watching from a flyover and waiting outside.

It is amazing that an athelete who is so unknown sells so many PPV's against Victor Ortiz. How do you think he does it?

    Yer in the US.

but in the UK I heard it's something like 50,000

In comparison to the US where he sells 1,000,000+

    50,000 is F all really.

I don't know anybody who knows of him, and I'm from UK, although when I say he was the black guy who punched Ricky Hatton into the ring post, they remember.

Why are you getting upset, Bummer? Your first contribution to the thread was a disagreement, and then a couple of pages later you're asking "who's disagreeing with you?" :huh. And here you are, disagreeing with me again :patsch.

Look, I'll break it down for you. The threadtarter is asking how popular Floyd is in Europe. I live in the UK, so I can only give UK's perception. The threadstarter wants to know how he compares to the likes of Woods, Nadal, Beckham, etc. These are household names. So my response on how well known Floyd is, is on a household basis. And on a household basis (which is not limited to just sports fans), Floyd is just about known as that America who beat Ricky Hatton a few years ago.

    And you're saying that's garbage?

You're an embarrassment. I actually feel sorry for you. You have to look at yourself in the mirror every morning, and acknowledge the joke and failure you are. I bet your own mother is ashamed of you. Most other parents can be proud of of their sons going out, getting an education, a job, and doing something decent with their lives. But in you, she sees a little, scrawny ****** jerking off to his Floyd Mayweather screensaver all day. ****in' Leonard Ellerbe wannabe punk. Fix yourself up. Else no one in life will take you seriously.

What a ****in' idiot he is. Who would have thought that by saying Floyd is not a household name in the UK (which is an undeniable truth! :deal) would upset him so much. Daft ****

FMJ is VERY well known in boxing circles. Nobody who is into boxing doesn't know who FMJ is over here. In sports circles altogether, he is relatively well known. There are people who are into sports, but not boxing, and know nothing about him.
