It would still be a good fight. The winner can fight the winner of Fury vs AJ.

This is why I have some hope of this fight happening. Wilder is dumb enough to overlook Ruiz and take the fight

They both look like a couple of fools :sisi2: thinking AJ was finished and what, overlooking the Gypsy King??

The way they're looking at each other they're thinking "I can take this clown".

Ruiz is all wrong for Wilder, Wilder can't fight fighting back, It will be worse than Wilder vs Fury 2.

Thats where PBC is heading both guys are gonna take interim PPV garbage fights (Ruiz vs Arreola and Wilder vs #23 HW) and then meet in the fall for a PPV clash..

Sidenote: If PBC wanted to build a successful PPV fall fight they would have both guys fight on FOX a week apart. But of course PBC is notorious for being greedy and not striking while the iron is hot.

i favor Ruiz. His pressure fighting and handspeed would be too much. But Wilder is a hell of a lot taller, even taller than AJ. and Ruiz doesn't really have much head movement or defense in general. Wilder could use his height and reach to hang on to a thread during this fight and eventually catch Ruiz and put him down.

Wilder has a massive height & reach advantage but can't jab.
This surely negates his main advantage almost completely.
Ruiz should get inside easily enough & do serious damage.

No it should be like this

    Wilder vs Ruiz
    AJ vs Winner of Ruiz/Wilder
Then the winner of that gets to fight the final boss Tyson ”The Gyspy King” Fury

What is your reasoning for that? I'm not trying to change your mind, just understand your thinking.

Most people accept that AJ and Fury are the two best HWs out there right now. With both being Brits, there is a natural rivalry there.

AJ vs Fury would be huge! Why not let them fight to determine who the best HW in the world is?

I don't think either of them is a rocket scientist.

The things that make this fight possible is the money it would earn them and the carrot of then getting a fight with Fury or AJ which would bring another really good payday and a chance at the belts.
