Im not too well versed on his career from when he started but it seems like he rapidly improved at finchley. That dillien white fight was awful.he was very poor indeed, from a world class perspective. How long after that was he challenging in tournaments?by my understanding he was competing at world level after a year

joshua was barely boxing long when he faught white

took him about 4 years to become world class, fighters need to be eased on along at super heavyweight in the amatuers but joshua was thrown in the deep end a lot of times

at his first major interantional tournament he was stopped by nistor at the european championships

fast forward a few months later and he won silver at the world championship and he won silver and was unlucky not to get gold, beating olympic champion cammerelle on the way and stopping most of his opponents

how quickly he rose through the amatuer game is a testiment to his talent

    took up boxing in 2007
became senior boxer and won abas in 2010
    world silver medelist 2011(incredible acheievment)
    olympic gold 2012 ( undeserved)

only took him a year of being a senior boxer to win world silver
    two years for olympic gold

Nobody is doubting that, but his pure boxing ability and mind and defence will be found out over his next 10 fights, and it'll be an exciting time!

Once his cycle of roids kicked in. Joshua is a big fan of the old insulin by all accounts.

Thought AJ started in 2009 when he was 19? He himself said he started boxing when he was 19 in pretty sure. 2007 would put him in the 16/17 bracket
