    Because there is no 'minimum weight'. You just made it up.

    gatti defended that belt 4 times before losing to floyd

    thats 4 more times then david diaz, miguel cotto & antonio margarito combined.... NONE OF THEM DEFENDED THEIR BELTS!

    THEY WERE ALL VACANT!

  3. The same way Roy Jones Jr. could win a Heavyweight title weighing 193. :deal

    DLH's 130lb belt was a vacant belt and we've already dealt with two of SRL's haven't we? Vacant belt at 168 and 175 belt also on the line in the same fight...?

  5. No man, Gatti won that vacant belt from Gianluca Branco, defended it TWICE vs. Leonard Dorin and a 104 year old Jesse James Leija before getting roflstomped by Mayweather.

    147 = WBOGUS belt at 145lbs
    154lbs = 150lb against a Margarito without a ranked win in about 2 years, we all know Williams and Martinez were the real champs at 154

  7. This.

    Promotors and ABC organizations have been doing this **** for years.

    Well, yeah, we get your point, just you've yet to explain why it's relevant.

    Why does Gatti defending his belt against an old lightweight suddenly make it more legitimate? Why does Sturm defending his middleweight title against a light middleweight who had never fought outside Spain and was coming off a recent loss make Sturm's title more legitimate?

    Martinez? The guy was WBC LMW champion for a year and has never in his career been in a fight where the WBC LMW championship was on the line. That's your idea of a legitimate champion?! :lol:

    Belts means nothing nowadays. :deal It's not about belt, it's about how you destroy your opponent in dominant fashion, The current competition in weight division. the resume of your opponent.

    How did Gatti win the belt? It was stripped from the real champ Tszyu due to his injury layoff. He was gifted it fighting eurobum Branco for a vacant title. His defences against former lightweights were insignificant, he was no more a champ than Cotto at 147, than Pac is now at 154.

    How did Mayorga get the 154 belt DLH won off him? You guessed it, he was gifted it by beating another eurobum Piccirillo for Winky's vacant title. And Mayorga had ZERO defences before DLH fought him. Again, no more a champ than Cotto at 147, or that Pac is now at 154.

    So right there you tear into Pac's titles, you're tearing into DLH's, Mayweather's, and that's not even taking into account DLH's WBOgus titles

  13. Boxing is so overrun with ABC belts that several posters on ESB even have them. :lol:

    David Diaz's belt is not vacant. He was the defending champ. Cotto was actually WBO defending champion. Prior to his fight w/ Pac, he successfully defended his title against Clottey. Yes, his fight w/ Margarito was for a vacant title.
