I've got some questions for you guys:

Is Shakur at this stage in the same league with former ams like Rigo, Loma and Ward ?

Do you think he had/has an easy route at Olympics ?

Is Floyd/TMT the right choice for Shakur when he turns pro ?

What if Shakur loses to Ramirez, will Floyd still see him as "the next Floyd Mayweather" ?

And the last one : What route would you take for your upcoming pro boxing career if you were Shakur and win the Olympic gold medal ?

    ?????????????????????????????

No he is not in same league as Rugo, Lomo and Ward at this stage.

He has had a good road in the Olympics although the robbery of Conlon has made his path easier.

No I don't believe the TMT is the best path for Shakur. He needs to carve his own legacy and having Floyd's shadow over you will make that difficult. Also the money team works with Haymon which has prevented many fighters from fighting the best.

Yes if he loses he will still be viewed as an extremely promising prospect as he should be he has very good ability

What's his chin like? Does he like to paddle around in ponds in wet weather eating bits of bread you throw him?

Is he as good as Rigo, Lomo, Ward?

I think, he's not as good as Rigo or Lomo, but possibly as good as Ward. He's very good.

Yes he's had an easy route.

Yes, it's the right choice, Floyd is the most marketable fighter today and can push his name out there easily.

Yes, Ramirez is really good, 3 years older and favoured to win gold.

    :good

Floyd works with Haymon/PBC and Schaefer, so I think Shakur is in good hands.

hes a good fighter still learning the game

floyd i think will ruin him

he will make shakur fight easy fights instead of taking real challenges to better his career

I actually think it would be a good move for him to go to TMT. There's such a huge stable of fighters from them to work with as far as competition goes (guys under Haymon's management,) and I could see Shakur getting a title fight by his 10th or 11th pro bout.

The TMT banner doesn't really have any great fighters there and only one alphabet champ right now (Jack,) so I think with Shakur going there he'd have a lot of Mayweather's attention and I can see him making sure he gets him the right fights for the first 10 or so pro bouts- low risk/ medium reward type of fights, let him make some good money and eventually fight maybe a weak alphabet titlist around his 11th or 12th pro fight.

TR is a huge promo company obviously, but Shakur might not be seen as a "priority" guy to them and I wonder if they would put him on the fast track for superstar dom/PPV attraction. I'm not saying he's a shoe in to become a superstar, but I'd imagine he'd be on a much faster track in getting there under Mayweather's banner.

I'd say GBP, TMT and TR should be the only 3 he's looking at. If I were him I'd stay FAR away from Roc Nation.
