    1-no
2-first round bye and semi final forfeit I'd say yes
    3-hard to say
4-well Floyd didn't gold either so he'd be a hypocrite. I thought he said tank Davis was the next Floyd

5-what yall think of Shakur at 19 staying am winning another gold turning pro at 23 instead more mature and bigger

Bantam isn't a popular weight in the states

Floyd would be fine for him, as Haymon has good competition for him from bantam to feather. But I think he should stay amateur not till 2020 but for another good two years before turning pro. If he was a bit more experienced getting setups while being shown on TV would be ok, but he's just 19 and still developing, and he'll learn more as an elite amateur.

Is Shakur at this stage in the same league with former ams like Rigo, Loma and Ward ?: He is a thinker, like them, not as talented, but always outsmart his opponent, i say yes.

Do you think he had/has an easy route at Olympics ?:His road to the final was a gift, two unknowns and two byes, he is better than that.

Is Floyd/TMT the right choice for Shakur when he turns pro ?: I believe so, Floyd works with Haymon who is ruling boxing this days, also, Floyd is a smart business man.

What if Shakur loses to Ramirez, will Floyd still see him as "the next Floyd Mayweather" ?: Why not?, probably Floyd will say that was a robbery because people believes all he says, also, Floyd won bronze in atlanta 96.

And the last one : What route would you take for your upcoming pro boxing career if you were Shakur and win the Olympic gold medal ?:The old school one, fight some low caliber guys early, like in the first 8, then move up to some challengers and not so good guys, then fight for a title in the 20 or 15 fight, like Floyd, Ray, Roy, Oscar, Sweat Pea, etc.

He looks good for a 19 year old, and he hasn't signed with TMT.

His skills are undeniable, I expect him to lose to Robeisy but that doesn't mean **** at this stage.
Floyd would be a fine choice. Yeah he hasn't built any stars (expect himself), but he hasn't had the talent to do so. Avoid TR right now.

Alternatively, I hear Caribe are recruiting :hey

Rigo and Loma made several trips to the Olympics and because of that were well better prepared than Shakur for entering the pro ranks. That's not a knock on Shakur because it doesn't dictate that won't be successful. Ward only went once and so did Mayweather so I think that those are the two fighters that I would compare him with. As for as skills, I think that he is on par with both of them But Ward was more mentally prepared. Floyd is the one he aliens with the best on skills and attitude at this time in his career.

He had to qualify in order to get to the games and he done that. A lot of good fighters didn't make it. Nothing easy about that. He is fighting the best each country has to offer. Not a picnic.

TMT is definitely the place to go for Shakur because the culture there is exactly what he needs to flourish. Him and Tank will sharpen each others skills to razor sharpness and be one hell of a one two punch for the TMT crew. Plus Floyd understands for real what that young man needs to do in order to be successful and can guide him through the whole boxing maze and into the light. He is young enough to connect with him and that's a good thing.

Losing will not change a thing. You must remember, Floyd himself loss in the Olympics.

If I was Shakur and I won the gold or not, my next move would be to hook up with TMT and soak up all that knowledge that Floyd has because the man is a winner and there's no denying that.

i think he has the talent to be world champ one day. he is nowhere near as accomplished as those fighters mentioned, but he is just now starting to make noise.
i think tmt is a good fit for someone with his defensive abilities.

Good potential, and the kid is smart and respectful.

To smart to sign with Top Rank and end up broke like Pac, and too talented to sign with GBP.
Mayweather Promotions/Al Haymon is the best home for this kid, and he knows it.
The Floyds will take this kid under their wings and groom him like they did Spence and Davis. Haymon will get him the exposure, experience and money he deserves.

    1. Unequivocally no. Ward is not in the same league as Rigo or Loma either, in the unpaid ranks.

    2. He had the easiest route to a Silver Medal in Olympic Boxing history. 2 fights against mediocre opponents only. Ramirez had to fight a number of top opposition and had 5 fights leading up to this.

    3. Absolutely. Mayweather wants money. Mayweather has left a framework. All Stevenson has to do is step into it. Stevenson is a marketable character.

    4. Yes, he can still be seen as that. Ramirez is a legitimately great fighter and it was a very close fight.

    5. A relatively fast track. Fight 5 mid level journeymen who have a reputation for being tough from the get go. 5 high level journeymen, 3 fringe contenders, 1 contender. World title. If he needs any more than 13/14 fights, he was never good enough to begin with.
    But he looks a star.
