Accepting any step aside money? The man wants his revenge now. Fury and his fans don't want it. They want him to go away. True warrior. Let's be honest, AJ and Fury is not as craved as people make it out to be compared to a vengeful Wilder against Fury.

He's limited but dangerous, I'm excited about the fight although far fetched for him.

He wanted step aside money, he just wanted more. If he were a true warrior, he would want the undisputed champ. He just wants his fraudulent title back so he can rematch Szpilka, get a third fight with Stiverne, etc.

I think Wilder may genuinely believe that he was cheated out of the second fight because of this theory that Fury tampered with his gloves. Either that, or he actually has low self confidence and a lack of belief in his abilities, so he’s trying to overcompensate with all this trash talk. If the second is true, I bet the fight doesn’t happen.

It took a whopping 6 minutes for you to quote yourself because you failed to get any attention.

    You're doing too much.

I think it's great that the rematch is happening after a gap of a year and a half. The mauling he took, he needed time to recover physically, mentally and to watch the tapes

Everybody complains about fighters caring about money more than legacy and "wanting to fight like a man!" Until they do the exact opposite, frequently.

Wilder was willing to take step aside but he wanted $20 million, knowing how much the site fee was he thought he could steal a slice of the pie. But now has to get his skull dented even further, Fury will abuse him to death in the third fight as he has taken £75 million out of Furys pocket and talked all the **** after defeat instead of accepting he got beat by the better man. Wilder should have taken $10 million for a fight against a bum on the undercard.
The guy is a fool. I'm looking forward to the beatdown though and the build up will be good as Fury won't be very respectful in it, should be entertaining.
On a side note to this Wilder probably would have stepped aside for a smaller fee but Al Haymon and Shelly Finkle would have also wanted a slice of the pie and have forced this on Wilder as they know this will be their last payday from him.

Fury maybe a bit overrated , but he will smash that clown again. What your excuses will be this time? Who are you going to blame this time? wilder’s chicken legs, glass jaw, sneakers or trump?

Of course... I think most reasonable people with sense can acknowledge its a warriors mentality and a rare sight in todays boxing.

No doubt it's the more admirable approach than taking the step aside money.

But having said that it would of been more respectable if he had simply made the Fury fight last year like it was supposed to instead of keep delaying it because they couldn't get enough money to pay him and Fury. Would of been better for both if they had done what other fighters had done during this time accept the reality of the situation and take a pay cut and give the fans the fight and allow the division to move forward towards and eventual undisputed champion.

It's nice he's doing the warrior act over business man now but why now and not last year and let's not pretend this is still likely the most lucrative option for him.
