An American original. Rocky wasn't born with a lot of advantages. Huge heart, strong, honest

Alright let's not get crazy here, the Rockistas need unity in these tough times of modernism and revisionista.

I just get tired of fans giving guys like Charley Burley, Jake LaMotta and Holman Williams passes for avoiding Graziano. Nobody wanted to taste that right hand. Even the greatest Sugar Ray had to climb off the canvas to win.
LaMotta wouldn't even come outside when Rocky came by his house. Graziano got so mad he punched a tree and hurt his hand. Rocky Graziano the most feared fighter of all time.

I know what you're saying is a joke but tbh you're half right, he was legitimately feared, just not by Burley or LaMotta (though if Jake had decided to mix it in a street fight I do think Graziano might've beat that ass)

I don't think Graziano feared anyone. He was as the article stated a great attraction. If the $ was right he would've fought Joe Louis.

So, Burley fought Holmann Williams, Archie Moore and Ezzard Charles with no problem but feared the middleweight champion of welterweights, Rocky Graziano?

He certainly isn't the best Rocky. And he's not even the best Graziano.

I realized that halfway thru my response but I didn't want to waste that last line.

I like Graziano. His book was very entertaining. He had a hellish childhood. Won the MW Championship on very limited technical ability and big box office appeal. Turned into a model citizen and family man who kept his money. And is a guy nobody wanted to mess with outside the ring.
