First step. Beat Felix Trinidad. If he dosent do this it is pretty much over for him. Each step asumes that he won the last step.
Step two. If Joe Calzaghe beats Bernard Hopkins fight Calzaghe for his 168 tittles. If Hopkins wins he should be concerded but I would go with the winner of Chad Dawson and Glen Johnson. Dawson is a very good up and comer. A win over Dawson might not be as apricited now as a win over Hopkins but in a few years we might look at things a bit difrently. Beating Johnson would avenge a loss.
Step three. If Hopkins is still at the top of his game, has beaten Calzaghe and has not lost any fights sense than. Jones should face Hopkins.
Step four. Chalenge the best Cruserweight. Winning a cruserweight tittle would give Jones tittles in 5 difrent weight classes.
I'm not saying this is the only way or even that at this point in his carer that he can even complete these tasks. However if he dose he might not be #1 ATG but he would have to be up there.

Calzaghe wont go back to 168 after fighting Hopkins. You're asking far too much of him at this stage of his career. The best people can hope for from Roy is to KO Trinidad in style then set up a rematch with Hopkins when he's done beating Calzaghe. Roy then needs to retire.

History will be kind to Roy Jones Jr. He's already an ATG and he'll be viewed as one of the 20-30 best to ever lace up the gloves when he retires, so I don't think he needs to do all of that to reclaim his status as one of the best ever. If he did (which is EXTREMELY unlikely), he would be an automatic top 3-5.

If Roy beats Trinidad then somehow beats Calzaghe i'll put him top10 all-time for sure.

How many other fighters have got 5 top100 ATG's on their resume Calzaghe, Trinidad, Hopkins, McCallum, Toney ?

As well as moving from MW to HW

IF he beat Trinidad and Calzaghe which AINT GONNA HAPPEN, I'd put him top10 for sure.

You're asking Jones to fight 5 more times - at the age of 38.

It's not going to happen. He has 2 to 3 more fights left in him and that's it.

Anything more than that - and he'll start looking like Holyfield.

Beat Tito - fight the winner of Hopkins/Calzaghe. If he wins both - he can retire or fight the top LHW - which will probably be Dawson.

He's already an ATG - so now he should be fighting for legacy and big money.

Create a time machine, travel back to 2001 and bring that Roy Jones to the future to fight in 2008 Jones' place

    IMO ...

    Beat Trinidad
Beat winner of Hopkins - Calzaghe
and KNOCKOUT Antonio Tarver just cuz...

Maybe another go @ heavyweight?? But I don't think we should go being too unrealistic. It's hard to say until we see how Jones looks on Saturday. If he pulls off a spectactular performance that does say 'something' as Trinidad is going to test him. But he just goes through the motions and pulls off a struggling lackluster decision or even gets knocked down in the process, then I think he may be done.

If he wins, I'm almost positive he'd get the winner of Hopkins-Calzaghe though. If it makes dollars, it makes sense. And RJJ receiving so much attention surely has to bother Tarver. HAHAHA!!!!!

I think take out Tito, rematch Johnson, Tarver, then one last super fight. Maybe with Calzaghe or up to cruiser or heavyweight

I say beat Trinidad, winner of BHop/Calzaghe, the fight a goodbye grand finale in Florida and ride off in the sunset.
