Floyd has a solid legacy no matter what happens from here on out.

No just wins but dominating wins over Corrales, JMM and Mosley (although old Mosley).

Wins over Castillo and De La Hoya.

The guy is a lock for HOF.

All time P4P list who knows exactly. Many guys with great credentials. Maybe top 25 right now and shoots up if he fights and beats Pac

ATG quite easily. Where you choose to list him is up to the individual.

first off he doesnt ALWAYS win hypotheticals...against todays fighters i agree he gets the nod more often than not but from 154 down give me the fighters you have that beat him. Now against ATG's...he gets slaughtered LITERALY every time! With a few people giving him some sort of credit for his skill.

Your comment about P4P though is exactly what P4P is for its a hypothetical thing yes having a resume to go along with it helps but the P4P thing is build to suggest that if all fighters could make certain weights and not be hampered by doing so...who would win...so its perfectly fine to use that ALONG with resume to rank fighters, no?

It's a lot less secure than it was before Pacquiao moved up and did a number on pretty much every man Floyd didn't fight..... and beat Floyd's leftovers in one sided whippings, including a highlight KO of Hatton.

I know, and I have no problem with Floyd being #2 or #3 p4p...that doesn't change the fact the he is ducking Pac though. I just hate when idiots like EZE say **** like "If he was such a ***** why is he still #2 in your p4p list?"....****ing moron...:patsch

Floyd needs a great in his prime to be remembered.

He has yet to have one of these.

It's an ironic topic this because it plays a complete role reversal for his fans and haters.

Those who think he has achieved all he needs to have done, are basically saying he can't have done better.

Those who are saying he has not achieved all he needs to have done are basically saying he could have done much more.

Personally I fall in the second category, I think he ha easily done enough to eventually go down as a top 15, but I do think if he had had just a couple more fights he could have gotten into the top 10/5.

As a side note I put pac on the same atg level atm, combined with the same disappointing notion that he could have achieved more.

ATG but not one of the greatest. Not among the people he sees himself with. Not Top10, not Top20, Not Top30 and probably not Top40.

Hes an ATG and HOF'er for sure and one of the top ones but for me his retiring from a hot WW division in 2006 and now all the problems with fighting pac leaves a big question over his work at WW, hes been a huge cherry picker at WW imo, he seems to think that the work he did at the lower weights allows him to avoid the seemingly tougher fights now, which is a shame. Imo if he fights pac though he can turn it around for the most part but i just dont think he will do that

He has some good wins , decent enough to make him a first ballot hall of famer.
A H2H beast below 140 before he became a pot shot artist although he is still good H2H now.
    Undefeated.
His skills will be remembered. Brilliant offence when he was lighter. Always had amazing defence , probably some of the best defence of all time.

He is ATG . Where people put him is really up to them.

Well it's a mythically list which is entirely opinion based. I'm assuming i'd find your placing of floyd equally as funny :)
