How serious of a threat is Jermall Charlo for GGG?

It's honestly time for them to match up. With father time slowly coming on Triple G and Charlo only getting better, do you guys feel like the latter would win at this point?

Course he’s a threat,Charlo does everything well imo but then again so does Golovkin,I do feel though that if it came down to a war only GGG would be left standing as last few guys to have won rounds of him and have any success have been Jacobs and Canelo who both fought carefully.

Charlo hasn’t faced top opposition yet at middle imo. Having said that he does look pretty good. Triple G is 36 and a clean fighter. He is showing his age. It’s a dangerous fight and at this point a good fight. If they fight in 2019 it’s a 50/50

Golovkin is not a cripple nor is he Pee Wee Herman. Charlo has not fought a legit middleweight yet, Golovkin has a rock chin, so he won't get knocked out and he will punch back with combinations, body punches, has skills and experience. This about what Golovkin would have done to the cripple that Charlo fought, then think about what Golovkin would have done to Pee Wee Herman..........................Charlo looked good against them, but Golovkin is far better than the cripple and Pee Wee, in totally another class. If Charlo would fight Jacobs, the winner would cause interest in the fight, would make money. Golovkin has just sold out!!!!!!! And he is fighting Vanes...................Vanes would have knocked out Charlo's cripple and Pee Wee Herman as he is in another class than they.................

It's still a little hard to say but Charlo looks the goods. I'd still have GGG favourite (maybe that'll change depending on how he looks against Vanes) but I'm thinking Charlo is likely around Jacobs' level, perhaps a little below as there are still questions to be answered.

Golovkin wouldn't walk through Canelo's feather fistsed burst attack he let loose 2-3 times a round , so I can't see him walking down Chralo who is bigger , more athletic , harder hitting and more active.
There's good reason why Abel Sanchez wants no part of the fight.

Because he isn't a big name. Because he wasn't mandatory till now. Because Canelo and his mandatory Derevyanchenko are ahead of him in the queue. There are your reasons. Golovkin has been a elite amateur and pro all his career and Sanchez has every confidence in him, it's very wrong to suggest they would swerve him.

Charlo should fight Jacobs, Canelo or Saunders and then we’ll see if he has earned a shot at the Champ. He’ll never earn his shot fighting no hopers.

I think he's a serious threat. Kid looks dangerous, BUT so did GGG before he started fighting elite level opposition. Once Charlo fights some serious talent at middleweight we won't be too sure.

This. Jermall is a much better fighter than Jacobs is. Jacobs can punch and is a great athlete, but has a weak chin and tends to go negative when he gets hit. Jermall would definitely take the fight to GGG.

You forgetting Brook. He had a couple of really good rounds but he couldn't sustain the work rate.

Good fighter but with the exception of the glass-jawed Centeno who barely landed a punch and had already been exposed by Soft Fists Sulecki, his weight bully ass hasn't fought anyone who can bang at 154, let alone up at 160. Right now, regardless of what his spastic army of fans will try and have you believe, Jermallo is at best, #3 in the que (and that's debatable) behind Clenelo and BJS and he's going to have to wait in line like a good little boy for his beating.

You also have the likes of Derevyanchenko who is GGG's other mandatory and Murata who is the WBA regular champ, the later of whom is a big star in his homeland of Japan and a fight against him and GGG over there would be huge. But if GGG does to decide to fight Jermallo after #1 and #3 have been dealt with, don't be surprised when Jermallo goes down like Wade even against an old past it GGG.

Jermallo's weight bully ass is even finding it hard to make 160 :risas3:

I believe he's a threat and it would not be a walk in the park for either fighter.

GGG against any top opponent is interesting since we haven't seen GGG fight many top opponents, and every time he has its been very close.
