How shocked were you when Marquez knocked down Pac for the first time?

I wasn't too shocked. Marquez was able to load up some in the third fight and he damn sure came to load up in the 4th. Was timing Manny pretty good leading up to that knockdown. He was just off a little bit each time until then.

I was very surprised by how heavy the knockdown was.

Got me up on my feet to finally see Marquez book a knockdown, definitely. Especially since I was worried this was going to be the time Manny finally beat Marquez clearly.

I was like "there's no way JMM is roided, Pac's chin is gone"

As much as I predicted Marquez to win by KO, I was still shocked. He absolutely flattened him. People say 'he only stopped pac because he landed the perfect shot' but that first ko showed that he was hitting like a beast. That shot came over the top and caught PAC on top of his head and it looked like he'd been hit by a car.

Fairly surprised it happened so early in the fight. Thought there was more of a chance later down the line when Pac usually gets lazy and sloppy. After that, I knew Marquez wasn't ****ing around this time.

That 1st knockdown has to be the real shocker, totally stunned at the way pacquiao was dropped, he'd hit pac with plenty of those over the years but this one smacked him across the ring. I'm a huge JMM fan & he is IMO an honourable man, a true warrior, but my gut tells me that when your team employ one of the most notorious chemists under an alias whose job description of strength & conditioning coach or was it camp doctor? who's boasted of being able to produce a PED that can't be detected. Then don't be suprised that alot of folk think this punch power has been artificially acquired.

I was real shocked. Admittedly though there have been a few boxing moments recently that made me do the same stand up and "OHH!!!" move I always do

    Mayweather/Mosley Round II
    Martinez/Chavez Round 12
    Martinez/Williams KO
    Bute/Froch all fight :verysad

It was shocking in a 'at long last' kind of way. But I wasn't that shocked that he put him down. He's been a hair's breath away from doing it in previous fights, particularly that combo in the second fight where he hit Pac in mid-air. He was practically out momentarily.

I've always been worried about Marquez -- even before the third fight I couldn't understand why everyone kept predicting for Pac to wipe him out just because of how Marquez/Mayweather played out. It was even stranger to see people once again favour Pac in the last match. It's like they never understood just how dangerous Marquez is and always will be for Pac. I guess they finally understand now.

That being said, I was still shocked when Marquez knocked him down, and even more so when he KO'd him. I expected Marquez to give Pac problems in the usual way -- counterpunching and movement, leading up to the usual close scorecards. I certainly didn't expect him to drop and then KO Pac like that. Crazy.

Slightly off topic, but Angel Heredia just bet 20,000 dollars on Rigo to beat Donaire. That seems awfully confident.. Got a picture up with Rigo on his twitter too, although says he's not working with him.

If Rigo knocks Donaire out in devestating fashion I might have to look harder at things. :think
