How shocked were you when Marquez knocked down Pac for the first time?

Cause after all, u were there, u used all ur scientific technology to measure Pacquiao's balance, the amount of force Pacquiao can withstand, how much power Marquez put into that punch and whether or not he was capable of doing so before the magical muscles appeared

I was so shocked, I was ok with Marquez loosing aslong as I knew he had put manny on hiss ass, so when JMM finished him I was at loss of words. Witnessed one of the greatest rivalrys end in spectacular fashiomn, history being made for all of true boxing fans who are still fans of the sport & not the flash. Seeing the phrase "revenge is a B**" come to physical motion. A legendary night that will never be forgotten. Jmm won for the fraziers & lesser known boxer's who spent there lifes trying to get the recognition they diserved but never got the oppurtunity because of the buisness side & shady promoters.

 

Also if you watch Rounds 1+2 closely, you'll notice JMM keeps feinting and NOT throwing any punches. He's just feinting... for what seemed like no reason lol.

Low and behold the master JMM had a damn good reason... and great patience. Caught manny sleeping :hey

It's the feints damned. JMM feints early in fights and DOESNT throw off the feints. manny then assumes JMM never throws when feinting.

I was really shocked, how could you not be? I'm still not convinced this was the result of super powers or landing a shot Pacquiao didn't see coming. Pac has taking endless shots in the past including from bigger fights / shots he didn't see coming and hes never come close to being hurt like that, not in the past decade or so. JMM landed the same identical shot in the 3rd fight and it did nothing. He landed the same one in the first fight and stunned manny for a second but didn't close to hurting him like that. I'd be more inclined to believe Pac's wear and tear is the cause then Marquez taking hulk drugs. (But who knows, Marquez looked ridiculously strong in that fight.)

If that isnt roids i dunno what is. Boner is a puffer, but he was right. Marquez looked like a dam linebacker!

 

Manny has taken heavier blows, but ones he was able to see coming. His balance was also off, I think with his feet more firmly under him he would have been stunned but not dropped.

:deal peole gotta understand at that level anybody can get KO'd. it happened to SRL, Duran, JCC sr., Morales, Barrera, Lewis, it can happen anytime especially when both fighters are past their prime like in this fight

 

So for now let's assume a fighter is on steroids based on: (1) his punching power (2) his impressive muscles

Marquez would be guilty BUT so is Pacquiao because I can look back at his fights and easily say he was on steroids based on the two aforementioned conditions.

If Pac's juiced up body enabled him to brutalize Diaz, DLH, Hatton, Cotto and Marg then Pacquiao fully deserves to be KTFO by an old man on roids. Karma is a *****.

Both guys are likely on roids but it shouldn't even matter because they're on an even playing field.

 

I wasn't too shocked because I have heard prior to the fight Marquez was on a very strong PED called "The Planetary" or something like that. So I was expecting anything to be honest and it did happen.

 

Extremely shocked. Kind of couldn't believe it actually happened. And then what later followed. Insane night.

 

The DLH's, Cotto's, and Margarito's were having a hard time finding Pacquiao. Those guys never got a good beat at the moving target thats Manny Pacquiao.
If any of those guys would have caught Pacquiao with a hard accurate blow to the head, it would have done more damage than Marquez' shot in the 3rd.

Mollases slow Margarito for example never hurt Pacquiao to the head. The only time Pacquiao really felt his punches were to the body.

Some of you guys just turn a blind eye to facts. You cant hurt if you dont land! :deal

 

Pretty shocked. Not as shocking as Jones/Tarver II, though when it comes to one punch knockdown(knockout).
